
While living in Berlin, Samira initiated her Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication in 2020 at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, where she is currently enrolled. During the winter semester of 2022—2023, she was awarded a scholarship by the DAAD, which enabled her to undertake a semester abroad at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. At Bezalel Academy, Samira attended classes in the Visual Communication Department, including a motion class and a multi-scripted lettering class, as well as classes in the Photography Department. Since 2024, Samira has been a member of the Typostammtisch Berlin Team. In 2025 Samira was part of the in-house graphic design team at the Heinrich Böll Foundation as part of an internship and since 2026 she is part of the team behind Haptik Magazin. Her photo book “The Holy Land” as well as the animated documentary short film “Vater der Gurken” that she produced together with Birte Rauch were awarded several prizes.
